Treatments are non-manipulative (it is not massage), non-invasive and done fully clothed.
I trained as a Reiki practitioner in the late 90’s and followed a traditional training route. Following my First Degree and then, later, my Second Degree with my teacher, I was then accepted by this teacher for a one year ‘Reiki Master’ apprenticeship (I was only the second person in a twelve-year period that this teacher agreed to train as a Reiki Master). At the end of the year, I became a Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki lineage. I also trained in the Reiki Jin Kei Do system as well.
I was the first person in this field appointed under an NHS contract to work with cancer patients at a leading UK hospital.
According to the US government’s NIH medical research agency, Reiki is ‘Bio-field Medicine’, which “involves systems that use subtle energy fields in and around the body for medical purposes".

I teach traditional First Degree and Second Degree courses, The First Degree course is suitable for anyone, and requires no prior knowledge or experience in any area. The Second Degree course is particularly suitable for those who wish to become skilful practitioners. Each course is typically run over either two consecutive days, or four consecutive evenings, or a combination of the two. The courses are strictly limited to maximum numbers.

Workshops are only for private groups and are therefore an excellent way for a group of friends, family or colleagues to bring huge benefits to their lives, in a fun and sociable way.
There is an additional benefit for those who organise and host a private group – for any group of 12 or more people, there are 2 additional, free places, for the organisers/hosts. For any group over 20 (maximum group size is 30) there are additional benefits which can be discussed with you.
I have run hundreds of private group workshops/events around the world (including UK, Monaco, Switzerland, France, Italy, US, Dubai, Jordan, Thailand, Singapore, India, Turkey). Where appropriate, and subject to availability, I can travel internationally to private groups.
These are the workshop format options:
- Half day – three & half hours (with break). Can be morning, afternoon or evening
- One day – seven hours, with two tea/coffee breaks and a lunch break
- Two-Three Days – consecutive days
